About Us
Our laboratory conducts applied fundamental research and translational research centered on the interplay and dynamic coordination among "molecules, materials, and biological systems." Since its establishment in 2012, and benefiting from an extensive and deeply integrated collaborative network with both domestic and international biopharmaceutical industries and clinical institutions, we have consistently focused on unmet clinical needs and critical technological bottlenecks, striving to address problems that are "both important and difficult."
We believe that genuine innovation in the biomedical field emerges from the convergence of three driving forces: deep insight into disease mechanisms, sustained advances in cutting-edge pharmaceutical technologies, and the precise alignment of both with the most appropriate therapeutic indications. Consequently, our research directions are highly interdisciplinary and dynamically evolving. Rather than adhering to a single technological platform or a fixed disease area, we adopt a problem-driven approach—flexibly adjusting our research portfolio to explore new targets and develop novel technologies in response to emerging clinical demands.
Our team comprises members with diverse backgrounds, spanning cell and molecular biology, pharmaceutics, medicinal chemistry, chemical biology, and bioengineering. We are convinced that cross-disciplinary exchange serves as the most potent catalyst for original thinking.
